Here we are again. It’s spring, the lambs are bleating, the sun is shining (or at least in Britain, the rain is getting warmer) and it really gave us the creative feels. So we wrote a murder ballad - yay, spring!
Of course, the big motivator behind this particular piece was the band got a haircut. Dean is back to looking like a young Tom Jones and Beth is back to looking like she has been dragged backwards through an LGBTQ+ festival.
As always - recorded live around one mic in The Nook. We’ve thrown in a few mistakes, on purpose, just to let you know it’s live - we are just that kind.
If you like your ballads murder-y then you have come to the right place. If you don’t like your ballads murder-y, might we suggest Tom Jones? He has a very similar haircut to Dean - you might like him.
So, in the spirit of spring and new life - here’s a song about murder/suicide. Yay… folk!
