Well, Kootch had some time off over Christmas - Or was it another religious event that we aren’t actually part of (Easter)? Anyway, time off was had, given to us by God… Or the government?
Seaside was on the mind, so we set off. This was short lived as we drove through the village next to ours and saw a sign that said ‘welcome to the centre of England’. Ah, yes, we are as far from the sea as we could possible get…. And the closest one was Skegness, so you can understand the dilemma.
So, we went to the next best place. Matlock Bath, the seaside town without the actual seaside. There was plenty of fresh doughnuts, amusements, and fish and chips. We were struck by the necessity to make another official video. This time for our self-penned song - Back In My Day.
Properly tracked and recorded audio - lots of incidental shots - and lots of dancing, what more could you want? A Unicorn?! Well, there is actually one in the video, so the joke’s on you, now you have to watch it… Can you spot it?
This video was a lot easier and less time consuming than the one from If I Were a Blackbird. This is mostly due to the fact that it was not largely shot in a room, with 300 tea lights, that when the door was shut, actually burnt hotter than the heat from a billion suns.
A lot of love and fun went into this and we hope you enjoy,
Love,
Harmonies,
Cwtch.
