Ossett folk club is held every Thursday at Ossett Cricket Club. This Burns night special is very different in two ways.

1. There will be a raffle and collection for the late, great, Pete Aveyard.

2. A bearded Scottish man (and resident MC for the folk club) Tom McDonald, will be dressed to the nines to deliver the Burns night poem and traditional cutting of the haggis. The first time we heard the poem, we thought it was another language... Turns out, it's just very broad Scottish. 
It is a night not to be missed and a place that even newcomers can feel like the best of friends.
